Health Guarantee

You have just purchased an AKC English Springer Spaniel. Your puppy has received his/her
appropriate shots & worming to date. Shot record enclosed. Your puppy must receive his/her full
set of shots and worming, heartworm if applicable by state & rabies shot located on health record
~included with guarantee~ by due dates indicated! Puppies may NOT be fully immunized against
puppy diseases until all 3 vaccinations have been given. Please do not expose your new puppy to
any new places where disease is a concern. Any puppy that is exposed to and infected with a virus
will not be replaced if loss shall occur! Please take every precaution with your new precious puppy!
This puppy is guaranteed in health for one year from date of birth expiring on

This guarantee covers:
Hereditary defects such as congenital heart defects & epilepsy that could potentially cause sudden
death or are severe enough to lead to the decision of euthanizing. PLEASE contact us first when
and if this is a consideration of yours. We must receive a written letter from your licensed
Veterinarian stating your pup has been euthanized as well as the reason your puppy was
euthanized before a puppy will be replaced. You may, of course, choose to keep your dog and treat
him/her for the defect verses having him/her euthanized if he/she is not in any pain while on
medication.
Progressive retinal atrophy & retinal dysplasia causing blindness. We require a confirmation letter
be written and signed by a certified Ophthalmologist accompanied by a copy of the CERF exam,
before a replacement puppy will be offered.
Hip & Elbow dysplasia other than mild to moderate that would cause a painful life and require
surgery to correct. We require a Consensus report from the OFA - Orthopedic Foundation for
Animals - before a replacement puppy will be offered.
In the event of a death before or on said date, we must receive a necropsy report from your vet
stating that your puppy passed away as a result of a genetic default, and not the result of
non-genetic illness or from actions caused by the purchaser, deliberate or accidental.
In such an event we will provide purchaser with a replacement puppy, same sex, of equal value
from current or future litter when available. No monies will be exchanged under any exceptions! If a
replacement puppy needs to be shipped, purchaser is responsible for all shipping charges as well
as any transportation charges occurred by purchaser. We will not be held liable for any
Veterinarian bills you may acquire during the lifetime of your puppy, even if as a result of
diagnosing or treating a genetic disease.
Although this dog may have full AKC registration, he/she is intended as a companion/pet dog only
and is NOT guaranteed to be of breeding quality.
This guarantee does not cover Inguinal hernias, umbilical hernias, entropion eye lid surgery,
cherry eye, ear infections or ear surgery, dew claw regrowth, allergies, parasites including
coccidian, guardia & worms of any kind, fleas or mites, as these are not life threatening diseases
when treated with Veterinarian care. Your puppy has had all required immunizations at the time
you pick your puppy up. You are encouraged to have a fecal sample done at your Veterinarian`s
office to test for all Worms, Giardia & Coccidian at your earliest convenience!.
